Leave a legacy and become a permanent partner with JFCS.
The JFCS Legacy Society is comprised of donors who have confirmed we are a beneficiary in their estate plans through bequests in a will or by listing Jewish Family & Children’s Service as a beneficiary of an insurance policy or trust. Your commitment to planned giving ensures the future of our youth, senior and family programs.
The JFCS Governance Board is committed to the agency’s financial viability without reliance on any one source of income. As part of the strategic plan, an endowment was created to diversify the agency’s funding streams and create perpetual funding for vital programs.
Endowed funds create a meaningful memorial in your name which allows a gift to provide a secure and brighter tomorrow not just for JFCS, but for thousands of people in need. There are numerous ways to contribute to the endowment or establish a fund of your own, with the primary purpose defined by you.
Consider:
- Make a gift now that costs nothing during your lifetime;
- Make a gift and receive guaranteed income for life;
- Make a gift and provide for your loved ones;
- Make a gift and Make a Difference
• Bequest Gifts – Your will can be a creative vehicle through which you can make meaningful gifts. You may choose one of several ways to benefit Jewish Family & Children’s Service.
• Lifetime Gifts – A personalized fund can be established during your lifetime with a modest initial donation and additional gifts made periodically.
• Lifetime Insurance Gifts – You can create a fund through annual premium payments or you can make a gift of an existing paid-up policy.
• Trust Gifts – Charitable Remainder Trusts provide annual income to be paid to you or to your designated beneficiary for life, or a period of time you specify. You can designate JFCS as the beneficiary and upon your death the trust principal transfers to JFCS and becomes an endowment.
