Through the Creating Peaceful Families program, staff members are the first line of defense against issues such as bullying, violence and abuse. Staff often provide a safe haven and preventive measures in families suffering from violence, divorce and poor communication.
Prevention staff works closely with children in classrooms, community programs and church settings to teach various techniques that promote communication and character building. Prevention Services also offers seminars and workshops to school faculty and parents that teach anger management and positive family values.
The Prevention and Creating Peaceful Families team will continue to create initiatives promoting success in children through services designed to foster mental and emotional skills and parental involvement.
