Through ElderVention, we provide community education and transition workshops at senior centers and retirement communities throughout Maricopa County. Our services are designed to assist seniors in connecting with others through education and peer support and to improve their overall well-being and quality of life. In partnership with the Area Agency on Aging, we advocate and raise awareness about older adult behavioral health and substance abuse, particularly prescription drug misuse. We want to help the community to recognize symptoms, promote appropriate access to treatment services, while reducing the stigma of ageism.
