Details: What a time in Art History! We will explore works by some of the world’s most famous artists including: Caravaggio, Bernini, Rubens, Vermeer, Frans Hals, and Rembrandt. The Italians in southern Europe liked it “hot”. Their art is emotionally charged with dramatic lighting and unforgettable story lines. During the same time period, northern European artists in the Netherlands though more cerebral took familiar artistic genres to new artistic heights that have never been surpassed. Registration
