Mirla Geclewicz Raz is the daughter of Holocaust survivors. Ms. Raz will present her parents incredible stories of survival in three sessions. In the first session, Ms. Raz will read the poetry of her mother and provide the background information for each poem. In the second session, she will present her mother’s story of survival under the Russians and then the Germans. The third session will be devoted to her father’s life in the Lodz Ghetto, how he managed to get out of Auschwitz and what happened to him in each of the subsequent slave labor camps to which he was shipped.
