2:00-2:55 p.m.: 1st Presentation on Teen Mental Health with Dawna Allington, MSW-ESSER Administrator at notMYkid

Dawna Allington has 17 years of experience working in behavioral health with experience ranging from direct practice with teens and families to prevention and grants administration tackling some of the most challenging problems that today’s youth and family are faced with.

Teen Mental Health Objectives:

  • Gain critical information on depression, self-injury and suicide
  • Understanding the influences
  • Warning signs and symptoms
  • How to talk about suicide with family and loved ones

3:00-4:00 p.m.: 2nd Presentation on Internet Safety with Kaitlyn Dimech, Program Coordinator at notMYkid

Kaitlyn Dimech has experience implementing prevention programs with youth across Maricopa county. Over the past 3 years, Kaitlyn has experienced providing motivational interviewing, implementing health education curricula, delivering presentations on a variety of mental health topics, and coordinating programs for various schools and organizations in Arizona.
