Greater Phoenix Counseling & Behavioral Health Services

We’re Here to Help When Life Gets Tough!

Sometimes the challenges our families face are impossible to solve from within. Seeking help from experienced, compassionate professionals can make a tremendous difference in your life and the lives of your loved ones.

Jewish Family & Children’s Service employs a staff of therapists, clinicians, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners who serve more than 12,000 people across the Valley every year. We can help people of all ages from 0 to 100 learn how to more effectively cope with life’s difficult circumstances. To best meet the needs of our community, we have English and Spanish-speaking staff available at all JFCS clinic locations.

Counseling for All Age Groups

The needs and challenges of our lives change as we get older, and counseling is not a “one size fits all” solution. We have developed specialized programs for all age groups so that all of our clients can receive effective counseling relevant to them.

Our counseling and behavioral health programs include:

  • Children - Our childcare specialists provide services for infants and children up to age 18. We utilize a specially crafted 0-5 Program designed to aid infants and toddlers during this critical time of their development. Older children benefit from play therapy that makes them feel relaxed and safe and encourages open communication.
  • Teens - We provide teens in foster care or dealing with emotional issues with numerous resources to prepare for adulthood, including a high school equivalency exam, job training, and guidance for transitioning to a more independent lifestyle.
  • Adults - Adulthood provides its own set of challenges we sometimes need help with. We offer adult counselling and psychiatric care as well as our Shelter Without Walls Program.
  • Older Adults - Aging can be hard on many, and we are here to ease that burden however we can. Our senior programs are designed to enrich the lives of elderly family members through social activities, in-home counseling and support, and classes that encourage creative expression.
  • For the Jewish Community - Though all of our programs are built from Jewish values, we offer some services catering directly to those of the Jewish Community who would prefer a more faith-driven bent in their counseling and community services.

We operate from numerous facilities throughout Arizona. Please call (602) 256-0528 (Para Español, Oprima el 2) if you would like to set up an appointment
