Creative Aging Classes

Greater Phoenix Area Arts Programming for Seniors

Creative Aging is a national movement aimed at fostering an understanding of the vital relationship between creative expressions and quality of life for older adults. These participatory, fun classes stimulate the mind and body and provide an outlet for artistic expressions. Classes are offered around the Valley, covering a broad range of arts, such as readers theater, storytelling, music, dance, and more.

For more information please contact JFCS Creative Aging Coordinator Janet Rees at (480) 599-7198, or email

Partial funding for 2019-20 is provided by The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix, the Arizona Commission on the Arts and our generous individual donors. We also greatly appreciate our congregational partners who provide both space and marketing support.
