Community Event Representatives

In order to maintain staff, client and volunteer safety during the COVID-19 public health crisis, volunteer opportunities for this program are currently on hold.

Passionate volunteers are needed to represent Jewish Family & Children's Service at community fairs and events. Help us educate our community about the comprehensive services Jewish Family & Children's Service provides and the many roles in which volunteers serve.

Greeters at the Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center

In order to maintain staff, client and volunteer safety during the COVID-19 public health crisis, volunteer opportunities for this program are currently on hold.

If you enjoy engaging with clients, greeting them upon their arrival at the healthcare center and assisting them with the check-in process, please consider this greeter role. You will have the first opportunity to provide a positive experience for our clients. Three hour shifts beginning at 8am are available Monday through Friday.

Speaker's Bureau Volunteers

Volunteers with good public speaking skills and an interest in educating the community about the services JFCS provides throughout the community are invited to join our newest volunteer program, Speaker’s Bureau. The initial two-day Speaker’s Bureau training will be held in November 2018. To learn more about to this new volunteer opportunity and/or to register for the training session, contact the volunteer coordinator.
