AZ Charitable Tax Credit
Take the Credit Now
It Costs You Nothing!
Tax credits reduce your taxes dollar-for-dollar as a credit (not a deduction).
In other words, a donation of up to $800 to JFCS ends up costing you NOTHING,
because it will be applied as a credit on your state tax return.
Contribution Credits Increased in 2016
Couples filing jointly can now give any amount up to $800 maximum (individuals
can give up to $400). Any donation amount is appreciated. All gifts over
the tax credit maximums can be taken as a charitable deduction on both
state and federal tax returns.
To donate, all you need to do is
fill out our online form or send a check to:
Jewish Family & Children’s Service
4747 N. 7th Street, Ste. 100
Phoenix, AZ 85014
We will end you a receipt regardless of how you apply. When you are filing
your taxes, all you need to do is list JFCS as the charitable organization
you donated to and the amount you gave.
Anyone who files income taxes in Arizona can claim the credit, simply by
making a contribution to JFCS! You do not need to itemize your deductions.
Take Multiple Tax Credits
In the same year, you may take advantage of multiple charitable tax credits:
the Charitable Tax Credit for Qualifying Organizations, Public School
Tax Credit, Private School Tuition Organizations, Qualifying Foster Care
Charitable Organizations Credit, and the Military Family Relief Fund.
How Does My Gift Help at JFCS?
Tax Credit dollars will help with emergency funds for our most needy of
families and youth. The funds we receive go towards numerous services

Your donation of $400 or $800 will help pay for items like:
