Tom McSherry, MC is President President/Founder of Crisis Preparation and Recovery (CPR) a behavioral health company. He has over 37 years’ experience in emergency disaster services/crisis response. He has responded to earthquakes, floods, wild land fires, air and train disasters, Columbine, 9/11, tsunamis and provides training and interventions to first responders.
This workshop will cover:
- How the body responses to crisis situations
- The emotional phases in a disaster
- How to help others after a crisis
- How to help yourself during and after responding
JFCS Aleinu will be presenting this program in partnership with Crisis Preparation and Recovery (CPR).
If you would like to be a member of the Jewish community response team, please bring a copy of your fingerprint clearance card.
