Built by the Delancy family in 1719, 54 Pearl Street has been a private residence, hotel, and a witness to the Revolutionary War. In this program, we will discuss the 300 years history at Fraunces Tavern using the Museum's archival photo collection, exploring the significance of the tavern as the site of George Washington's farewell to his officers and its importance to New York City history.
