Frida Kahlo was an artist who painted her life on canvas. A woman ahead of her time, she stood true to herself…even when faced with great physical and emotional pain. Independent, strong-willed, expressive, and devoted to her husband, the painter Diego Rivera, she is viewed today as one of the great artists of the 20th century.
