Volunteer With Us

Make an Impact in Our Community

Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) volunteers offer their skills, knowledge and expertise in a range of roles and programs – including stocking and delivering food, conducting supply drives, making phone calls to donors, helping coordinate special events and assisting with special projects.

Our volunteers are the heart of JFCS. Dedicating over 600 hours of service annually, our volunteers are instrumental to our mission to strengthen the community by providing behavioral health, healthcare and social services to individuals and families of all ages, faiths and backgrounds.

Volunteer Opportunities

Caring Cards

Volunteers have the unique opportunity to reach out to homebound individuals, often older adults, with inspiring notes and heartfelt letters.

Just 3 Things Pantry

Our pantry collects non-perishable and non-expired food, cleaning products, personal care items and school and art supplies that will be distributed to our clients based on their needs. Volunteers can stock and organize donations, deliver supplies to our locations and coordinate supply drives. Learn more.

Mitzvah Projects

JFCS offers social action opportunities for adults, teens, B’nai Mitzvah students, community organizations and businesses. Some opportunities for individuals and groups include conducting a supply drive or preparing and delivering holiday items.
