11:00am-noon: Wandering Jews of New York City
Join noted architect, author, and tour guide, Oscar Israelowitz, on a delightful one-hour zoom program of the many diverse neighborhoods throughout New York City. Visit the Lower East Side, Upper East Side, Jewish Harlem, Upper West Side in Manhattan; the South Bronx, Grand Concourse and Riverdale in the Bronx; Jamaica, Forest Hills and Laurelton in Queens; Downtown, Williamsburg, Borough Park, Crown Heights and Flatbush in Brooklyn; and Tompkinsville, Port Richmond and Tottenville in Staten Island. There is a special stop-over at Ellis Island, where over twelve million immigrants were processed.
