11:00am-12:00 pm: Video Game History with Josh Roffler, Senior Curator of Collections and Archivist at Tempe History Museum
Video games have become an integral part of our culture. What started as a fun distraction for computer programmers quickly exploded as technology developed and became widely available to the general public. The rapid spread of video games during the 1970s and 1980s was exciting, infectious, and at times controversial. Today, video games are extremely diverse, represent the cutting edge of technology, and are played by almost everyone.
