Teenage Counseling, Medical Care & Behavioral Health Services
Preparing Adolescents for Adulthood
The teenage behavioral, medical, and counseling services at Jewish Family
& Children’s Service provides guidance and support for adolescents
as they prepare for adulthood while struggling with difficult issues.
Many people eagerly anticipate adulthood while struggling through teenage
years, but even as the goal becomes more realistic the reality of independence
can grow more and more stressful. We let our clients know that they are
not alone in this venture. While the next stage of your life comes with
its own challenges, going in prepared can make things easier.
Candidates for our teen counseling services include:
- Teens dealing with emotional and/or mental health issues
- Teens living in out-of-home placements
- Teens involved with DCS (Arizona Department of Child Safety)
